Since its foundation in 1969, it has become an international multi-million dollar business supplying major oil, gas and petrochemical companies around the world. Based at its purpose build Headquarters in North Yorkshire, Pipeline Engineering pride themselves on their technical expertise and ability to resolve complex and ever changing pipeline issues. 

Through overseas expansion, development of the service side of the Company and continued increase in demand for oil and gas, Pipeline Engineering has grown threefold in the last four years, with over 90% of output now being exported to all corners of the globe. This has led to a 100% increase in the workforce to 135 people.

Products manufactured include a full range of pigging and flow assurance products, including utility pigs for cleaning and maintaining pipelines, signallers for pig passage detection, specialist polyurethane products using their own unique “Omnithane®” polyurethane, Pressure vessel and pipeline pigging equipment such as launchers, receivers to release and receive pipeline pigs and closures to allow access to pipeline networks.

In addition, the Company has developed a specialist consultancy and flow assurance service under the name of PE Solutions.  This side of the business looks at pipeline flow problems around the world. Specialist pigging and flow assurance services offered include project management and engineering consultancy and their specialist team of onshore/offshore certified engineers and technicians are available to offer a comprehensive range of site service support.
